The Originals are the bags Rowdy started with: the core 2012 designs, simplified. Raw leather interiors on select styles, simple black cotton lining on others. Fewer components, no unnecessary extras.
What stays is everything that makes a Rowdy a Rowdy: the silhouette, the stitch work, the hardware that lasts.
The hide
Same leather. Same hands.
Every Original is cut from the same full-aniline, free-range Namibian cowhide as the rest of the range, and stitched by the same hands in our Salt River workshop.
Originals come in our four core leathers: Amber, Cedar, Charcoal and Mountain. Each hide carries its own marks and deepens with use.
The deal
Priced fairly. Repaired forever.
A simpler build means a fairer price: the range starts at R595. The saving comes from the construction, never the material.
And the Repair-for-Life Promise applies in full. Any manufacturing defect, we repair for as long as you own the bag.
