The Rogue Rucksack is small, sharp and built to move. Compact enough to wear under a coat or carry through a busy airport, big enough for a day out with the essentials. The hair-on-hide front flap gives it a distinctive face, bold and natural at the same time.

Inside, an inner pocket for the things you reach for first. A discreet zip pocket tucked against the back panel keeps wallet, passport or phone secure. Adjustable straps so it sits snug on the shoulders, not floppy.

Hand-stitched in our Cape Town workshop. Repair-for-Life Promise on every bag.

Care for your leather

Leather body is full-aniline, no surface coating. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Condition with leather food every few months. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.

The hair-on-hide front flap needs a gentler hand. Brush in the direction of the hair with a soft brush. Spot-clean with a damp cloth wiped in the direction of the hair. Avoid soaking.

The front flap is bovine hair-on-hide, giving the bag a distinctive, natural face. Underneath, the bag is full-aniline leather with Italian hardware. A hidden YKK zip pocket sits against the back panel for the things you don't want easy to reach: wallet, passport, phone. Adjustable shoulder straps for a snug fit.

How does the Repair-for-Life Promise work? +
If a seam goes, a clip breaks, or hardware fails through normal use, send it back. We assess, repair and return, usually within 2-3 weeks. Wear and tear (scratches, leather softening, hair on the flap softening) isn't a defect; that's the materials doing what they should.
What is hair-on-hide and how do I care for it? +
Hair-on-hide is natural cowhide with the hair retained. Every flap is unique in pattern and texture. Brush gently in the direction of the hair with a soft brush. Spot-clean with a damp cloth wiped in the direction of the hair. Avoid soaking.
Will it fit a laptop? +
A 13-inch laptop fits comfortably. Tighter for a 15-inch and not recommended as a daily 15-inch carry. If you need a laptop-first backpack, look at the Originals Rucksack Large or the Originals Laptop Bag.
What fits inside? +
13-inch laptop, water bottle, notebook, a layer, lunch. Good for a day out, a city wander, or a long travel transit. Hidden back pocket takes wallet or passport.
Payflex and PayJustNow, how do they work? +
Both let you split the price into interest-free instalments. Payflex is 4 payments over 6 weeks; PayJustNow is 3 monthly payments. Choose either at checkout. No interest if you pay on time.

How heavy is it? +
About 1.0kg empty. Lighter than our standard leather rucksacks.
Will every bag look the same? +
No. The hair-on-hide front flap is natural, so the surface markings, hair direction and tonal variation are unique to each piece. Two bags from the same colour will not be identical.
