Description

Our slim sling, made the Originals way. Unlined interior, raw leather, the same hide inside as out. Two sizes so you can pick the carry that fits your day.

The strap adjusts to wear alongside the hip or across the body. A YKK zip closes the top. The Large size has a hidden interior pocket for cards or a passport. The Small keeps it to one clean compartment.

Hand-stitched in Cape Town. Repair-for-Life Promise on every bag.

Returns: 10-day cooling-off, free in SA via our returns portal. Custom-debossed bags can't be returned.

Care for your leather

Unlined leather, no surface coating. Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Condition with leather food every few months. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.

The interior leather will pick up marks over time. That's by design. The leather deepens and softens the more you wear it.

The Originals Sling sits flat to the body. Adjustable strap, so you can wear it tight to the back as a crossbody or drop it alongside the hip for quick reach.

Slim profile means it disappears under a jacket. Big enough for phone, wallet, keys. The Large size takes a small notebook and sunglasses case too.

A YKK zip closes the top reliably. Inside, no lining, just the raw cut of the leather and a hidden pocket on the Large size. Italian clip-on strap fittings so you can swap straps or remove for storage.

The unlined interior is the point. You see the leather inside as well as outside.

The questions we get most often, answered honestly by the workshop.

How does the Repair-for-Life Promise work? +
If a seam goes, a clip breaks, or hardware fails through normal use, send it back. We assess, repair and return, usually within 2-3 weeks. Wear and tear (scratches, leather softening, colour deepening) isn't a defect; that's the leather doing what it's supposed to do.
Will the leather scratch? +
Yes, gently. It's full-aniline leather with no surface coating. Light scuffs are part of the character and will fade or blend in with use. Deep scratches we can fix under Repair-for-Life if needed.
Small or Large, which should I buy? +
Small fits phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses case. Large adds room for a small notebook and a hidden pocket for cards or a passport. If you're using it as a travel sling or want some extra room, go Large.
Does it fit a phone, keys, wallet? +
Yes, comfortably fits an iPhone Pro Max, keys, wallet, sunglasses case. The Large size takes a few more extras.
Payflex and PayJustNow, how do they work? +
Both let you split the price into interest-free instalments. Payflex is 4 payments over 6 weeks; PayJustNow is 3 monthly payments. Choose either at checkout. No interest if you pay on time.
Shipping and returns? +
Free local shipping over R1,500, 2-5 working days. International R800 flat, 5-10 working days. 10-day returns, free in South Africa. Custom-debossed bags can't be returned.
How heavy is it? +
About 260g for the Small, 330g for the Large.
How do I care for the leather? +
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Condition with leather food every few months. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners. Let it dry naturally if it gets wet.
