Description

The Tote Crossbody is the most-loved bag we make. Soft to the touch, structured enough to hold its shape, large enough to carry a 15-inch laptop, notebook, charger and lunch — yet sleek enough that it doesn't look like a work bag.

A removable sling means it switches from over-the-shoulder to crossbody in seconds, then folds away so you carry by hand at dinner. Italian solid hardware, full-length YKK zip closure, hidden interior pocket.

Backed by our Repair-for-Life Promise: any manufacturing defect, we repair for as long as you own the bag.

Returns: 10-day cooling-off, free in SA via our returns portal. Custom-debossed bags can't be returned.

Care for your leather

Full-aniline leather has no surface coating, so it absorbs water. If caught in the rain, wipe dry and condition with leather food once fully dry.

To clean: damp cloth, mild soap. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners. The leather will deepen and develop character with wear — that's the design intent.

Does it really fit a 15-inch laptop? +

Yes. 34 × 33 × 11 cm comfortably fits a 15-inch MacBook Pro / Air with the charger, a notebook and a few daily extras. For 16-inch machines, see our dedicated Leather Laptop Bag.

Which leather should I choose? +

If it's your first Rowdy: Amber, Cedar or Boulder are the easiest to live with. For statement: Mountain, Charcoal or Magma. Quieter options: Stone or Maple. Jade and Amethyst are seasonal favourites.

What's the difference between the lining options? +

Unlined is the lightest and softest. Black Lining gives a clean, finished interior. Rowdy Lining uses our signature printed cotton — a fun touch if you'll open the bag in front of people. Functionally identical.

Payflex and PayJustNow — how do they work? +

Both let you split the price into interest-free instalments. Payflex is 4 payments over 6 weeks; PayJustNow is 3 monthly payments. Choose either at checkout. No interest if paid on time.

Is the leather treated? +

No. Full-aniline finish means no surface coating. The natural grain, marks and character of the hide are all visible. Will absorb water if soaked — wipe down, condition with leather food, it'll be fine.

How does the Repair-for-Life Promise work? +

Defect through normal use? Send it back. We assess, repair, return — usually 2-3 weeks. Wear and tear (scratches, softening, colour deepening) is the leather doing what it should.

Where does it ship from? +

From our Cape Town workshop. Local: 2-5 working days, free over R1,500. International: R800 flat, 5-10 working days.

Returns? +

10-day cooling-off, free in South Africa via the returns portal. Custom-debossed bags can't be returned.
