ROWDY Introduces Factory Tours

Rowdy Bags' Lifestyle Blog

Curious about how your ROWDY Bag was made? We encourage the public to visit and experience our factory, which is the beating heart of ROWDY.

Located at 20 Brickfield Road in Cape Town, our factory is the culmination of our commitment to transparent production. Open to the public, here you can learn more about how we make our leather bags and watch our team of leather artisans and machinists do their skilled work.

As visitors enter through a set of double doors – the distinctive hum of the working sewing machines and leather press can already be heard at this point. You’ll be greeted by one of our staff members, and will see a double-volume room housing 20 machinists and reels of leather. One of the most distinguishable characteristics of the factory is that is filled with natural light, plants and there is always music playing, chosen by our factory team.

If you would like a guided tour that weaves between the cutting tables and sewing machines, simply give us a call on 061 227 1919 to book or email info@rowdy.co.za. A member of our team will be happy to offer you an insightful and interesting experience for all. Tours are approximately 20 minutes long and are complementary, ending in our factory shop.

The ROWDY Factory is open to the public, 5 days a week from 8:30am – 4:30pm. There is parking available across the Brickfield Junction at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, as well as along Brickfield Road.

We look forward to your visit!
